SPRINGSOFT STRENGTHENS OPERATIONS IN EUROPE

Signs Distributors ISS Group and Transfer B.V. for Nordic and BeNeLux Regions, Expands Management and Technical Application Teams

Newbury, England, September 8, 2009
- SpringSoft, Inc. (TAIEX: 2473), a global supplier of specialized IC design software, today announced that ISS Group and Transfer B.V. will distribute the SpringSoft verification enhancement and custom chip design solutions in Europe's Nordic and BeNeLux regions. Sweden-based ISS will serve as the Scandinavian source for SpringSoft's complete NovasTM verification enhancement portfolio, which includes the VerdiTM Automated Debug, SilotiTM Visibility Automation, and CertitudeTM Functional Qualification products. Transfer B.V., headquartered in The Netherlands, will focus on the BeNeLux market (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg) for SpringSoft's LakerTM custom IC design and Novas verification enhancement products.

In other moves that further strengthen SpringSoft's European operations, Yigal Ben-Eliyahu has joined the regional management team as country manager and director of sales for Israel. Yigal is an electronic design automation (EDA) industry veteran with 19 years in sales, most recently at Cadence Design Systems. SpringSoft has also added senior application engineering expertise to support the Laker layout product and fully integrated all sales, R&D and customer support functions for the CertitudeTM product acquired by SpringSoft earlier this year.

SpringSoft already delivers the most widely adopted design comprehension and debug solutions with the award-winning Verdi and Siloti products. With strengthened operations in key locations and application areas, SpringSoft is well positioned to expand its proven track record and bring the benefits of the Laker and Certitude product lines to the broader European marketplace.
"Our focus on customer satisfaction and technology excellence has enabled us to be successful in Europe and establish strong relationships with many global industry leaders and local companies throughout the region," said Paul Gibson, vice president of sales in Europe for SpringSoft. "As we continue to expand our product portfolio, the time is right to reinforce our operations with additional resources and expertise to help drive adoption of new technologies across Europe and better serve local needs in the Nordic and BeNeLux markets."
