• Schematic-driven Layout Automation: Speeds the creation of custom layout by automating time-consuming portions of the flow while maintaining user control over the results. An integrated set of graphical windows enable the display and manipulation of the schematics, design hierarchy, and layout. • Process Design Kits for Custom IC Design: Process Design Kits (PDKs) enable IC designers to achieve faster time to market and first-pass silicon success for designs that function as intended, offer less risk, and yield more predictable results. PDKs are developed specifically for each manufacturer (pure-play foundry), wafer process flow, and technology node to convey manufacturing requirements (physical and electrical design rules) and device performance.
